Feels good and helps against dandruff

I am not sure whether I should rate this product as a success but it relieves my scalp itching. My hair is dry and thinning so I apply Rogaine daily to halt hair loss and use Alpecin caffeine shampoo twice a week for dandruff. I cannot say my hair loss condition has improved due to Alpecin but my dandruff problem has got better since the first day I used it.

Hair regrowth

Does nothing to stop hair loss

Hello, my review is based on five months experience with Alpecin after-shampoo liquid. Initially, I applied it religiously after each shampoo wash for about four months. I liked the burning and refreshing feeling it gave me, as I thought it was necessary in order to bring the caffeine and other active ingredients to deeper skin layers, down to the hair follicles. It also seemed to stiffen my hair with each application but I have not noticed any improvement in my hair loss condition and certainly no regrowth. After about three months of using it my hair became lighter in colour, which has to be due to the liquid’s high alcohol content. Shortly I decided to continue using it only twice a week until finishing my stock and I am becoming increasingly sceptical about caffeine’s positive impact on my hair loss. My hair loss is hereditary and it is fair to say that no product could hold it back so far.
