(Poly) Re-Nature Consumer Reviews
Natural looking results
By Jens from Denmark, age 55, who has been using Re-Nature for 2 years:
I am only applying Re-Nature on the coarse white hair on the sides, where it works as stated. I would not use it on the fine hair on the hairline for fear of burning it, as you can feel the chemical reaction sizzling, releasing its typical metallic scent. I have never tried any permanent hair dyes, but I suppose this product works in a similar way but more slowly, which makes it discreet. The downside is you have to use it more often.
Re unite with Re Nature
By June from the UK, age 63, who has been using Re-Nature for 3 years:
I used Re nature for about 3 years when my son lived in Germany. I have been unable to get hold of re-nature since then and am desperate to get a supply of this wonderful product. Can anyone please tell me where I can buy it. I am prepared to pay over the odds for postage etc.

I have used this product for a couple of months, but i had to stop coz after some time it gives sort of copper color reflections. Really ugly. I asked the manufacturer and I was told that this happens to people who have more than 50 % of white hair. I understand that no progressive coloring exists for such people. They have to use a hair dye.

I had never been very much worried about my grey hair despite my young age and had never tried any hair colouring product. It was my wife who decided I should try Re-Nature. To my great dismay my grey hair colour was not affected at all after the first application. But then on the next day we started noticing the change as my grey hair began regaining its original colour slowly, day by day, turning darker every day for about five days. I like the way this product works and will continue using it in the future. The only weakness is its aggressiveness as you need to use protective gloves to apply it, which leaves you guessing at what this blue mixture might do to your scalp.

In December of 2008 I reviewed this product and I'm still absolutely amazed by the effectiveness and quality. It gives a look that's so utter natural ...! My only fear is that the company will EVER change the product or will EVER withdraw it from the market ... b.t.w. I know nothing about any long-term damage or health-risk, but I'm using it for at least 5 years now, without any sign of damage to my hair.
This stuff works
By Joe from USA, age 39, who has been using (Poly) Re-Nature for one month:
I decided to try out Re-Nature after reading the active ingredient did not contain lead acetate. I had been using Youthair (to little effect) but my wife freaked out a bit when she learned that it contained lead. So, i decided to order Re-Nature despite the fact it cannot be purchased in the US (for reasons I still don't understand - i wound up ordering it online from some online pharmacy in Australia). I have relatively short hair that is about 85-90% gray. After two applications of the product i had a noticeable difference in hair color. After four applications I was really getting my natural black (Irish) hair color back – with the exception of my sideburns and widows peak which stayed quite gray. After the first couple of applications i did see a slight blue tint to my hair which eventually faded out and has not shown itself again even after subsequent applications. I apply it every weekend now and am very satisfied - just wish I could pick it up at the corner pharmacy instead of having to order it from the other side of the world.

I don't know if it's because I'm just a lucky one to have fantastic results with this product... It's simply great, never had any problem (only once in a period of 4 years I had a strange allergic reaction, while I use it every 2 weeks!). It works absolutely wonderful and gives a very natural look and I use it ALWAYS for my beard and moustache, too. It seems it's especially developed for me (I mean for my type of hair, which turns more and more grey, while my original colour was brown/dark-blonde). By the way, I always use the DARK type of this product, because the medium-type doesn't do very much.
ReNature - works for me
by GreyHunk from Hungary, age 43, who has been using Re-Nature for 3 months by now:
After trying various hair-dye products, I found that I am allergic to PPD, the component used in most darker shade hair-dyes. As I also like my short beard, even the slightest allergic reaction or irritation renders a product unusable - even ones that claim to be OK on facial hair. So, as an option, I found ReNature that has no PPD and gave it a try. I also liked the fact that it seems to have one of the least scary ingredients. It does break up the outer "skin" of the hair as all permanent dyes do, but the synthetic pigment is most nature-like unlike the metallic ones in other anti-grey hair products, and no PPD as in pretty much all darker dyes. As an advantage I can read German and found the reviews promising: while it is not a solution for everyone, it seemed to work for people with my hair colour.
Strangely, the German official FAQ says it is OK to use it on facial hair, although "not specifically suggested", hinting to be careful not to get it into one's mouth of course. The Australian FAQ in English on the other hand says "no".
My hair is middle-dark brown, so I started with the medium variant as suggested on the products FAQ page. Good news: the allergy test showed no irritation at all. First I tried it on my beard - should a bad colour result appear it can easily be shaved off :-). At first the result seemed minimal, although fortunately I took some photos before and after, and it did get definitely somewhat darker. After learning the tips and tricks, such as it needs time to develop, multiple applications - up to 3-6 applications for darker hair - and combing helps to get the stuff around the hairs, I did see good results after the second or third application, leaving it on for 20 minutes as suggested for darker hair.
The application is easy, definitely lot less smell than dyes, which disappears with a GOOD rinse. Handheld showers that are common in Europe are excellent for a thorough rinse. The cream is easy to put on, comb in, doesn't drip, and doesn't stain the skin.
The effect is very natural, in fact it still shows that I am greying, but the overall look is a lot darker and younger. So, I started using it on my hair too. I can control the level of anti-grey effect by the frequency and/or the length of the application. In either "anti-grey" stage it does look natural on my hair.
The only problem I have is that I may need to switch to the dark variant, as my beard is short, and grows faster than the applications can take their effect. For some reason only the medium variant is in stores in my country, but I can either order it or pick up a couple of packets when I am in Germany. It is really a shame of the local distributor, but I cannot say it is excellent until I see the result with the dark version.
Overall, I think there is no product that suits everyone, for people especially with brownish hair, this product may be the best solution out there.
If you want to try it in parts of the world where it is not in stores, lila-se.de or unserekleineapotheke.de ships worldwide. The first webshop is available in English (well, partially...).
